Education
I completed a master's degree in Applied Finance from the University of Macquarie. Prior to that, I completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales majoring in Actuarial Studies and Information Systems, graduating with distinction. Some of the courses I took include first-year math, accounting, finance, economics, and actuarial studies. I have also been the 2005 winner of the HSC Premier's All-rounder Excellence Award with 10 Units greater than 90. My high school subjects and grades include a 93 for Mathematics Extension 2 (4 Units), a 97 for Mathematics Extension 1 (3 Unit), a 90 Chemistry, an 82 for English, a 47/50 for Japanese Extension 1, a 94 for Japanese Continuers, and a 94 for Accounting.
Experience
I have experience working as a teacher and a tutor since I was a university student. At the moment I am working full-time. I am fluent in English and have been the 1st prize winner of the 35th NSW Japanese Speech Contest, as well as the 2nd prize winner of the 35th Australian National Japanese Speech Contest. Tutoring sessions with me are always student-centered, which means that my students always determine the pace at which they want to learn, as well as the topics and materials that we will focus on. I am able to provide tutoring sessions in a wide range of subjects from Accounting to CLEP Information Systems and Computer Applications. Whether you need help preparing for the SAT Subject Test in Japanese with Listening or are having a hard time with middle school math, I have the skills and expertise to provide you with the academic support you need.
