Education
I earned my HSC (Higher School Certificate) with an ATAR of 85.7. The courses I took include English Advanced, English Extension, Modern History, History Extension, and General Maths. I then earned my Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology and minoring in Psychology and Spanish, from the University of Sydney. I went on to earn my Master of Social Work from the Australian Catholic University. I also have a Certificate IV in Teaching English as a Second Language.
Experience
I have just returned home from 18 months of living and teaching English as a second language in Madrid, Spain. I have experience with teaching English in a public primary school and a private language academy as well as providing private tutoring lessons. I can help students prepare for their IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam. I can also tutor students in conversation to improve their speaking in English. I can help students with vocabulary and grammar. I can tutor students in a one-on-one or small-group setting. I can also offer school support and tutor students in Business English and HSC English Advanced. I love teaching English because I love meeting and talk to people from all around the world. I find it especially rewarding as it helps others learn to communicate.
