I have a bachelor's degree in marine biology from the University of Stirling.
Experience
I have experience teaching French and English classes to children of various ages and skill levels. I also have experience hosting many English and French full immersion courses in Southern France. They were aimed at high-level professionals in French businesses such as Airbus and the French Army. The courses involved long conversational periods over meals and traditional classes during the day. I work as a freelance underwater photographer, producing high-quality photo stories for diving magazines and international conservation organizations. Apart from winning multiple photography competitions, my photos have been used to successfully help protect endangered marine species such as Mobula rays and blue sharks by organizations such as IUCN, Manta Trust, and MCS. I am technically and creatively experience in both land and underwater photography, and I can teach photography skills and theory. I have expert knowledge of Adobe Lightroom. For the past year, I have worked at a 4 star resort in the Maldives and as a resident marine biologist, researching the local manta ray population and educating hotel guests on marine life. I am knowledgeable about aquatic and terrestrial life, and I can transmit this passionately to people of all ages.
